Anniversary
Today is our anniversary! David and I moved in together on this day in 1992. That's 28 wonderful years of excitement, accomplishment, adventure, the occasional trial, but mostly just plain fun. 5 years since the goverment recognized that this all was really quite a good idea. Love you Sweetie!

A Piece of Very Good Common Sense
Found today on a blog I follow. It's the most sensible thing I've heard in months.

Thing is, 99.9% of Americans don’t actually do anything to celebrate Columbus or the conquest – or even think about it. It’s just a random day off. Of all the holidays this is the one that should be dropped and then replaced with Election Day (first Tuesday of November) as a paid day off.
