I wanted to share this proud moment with y'all. Today I stopped at CVS -- for those unfamiliar, CVS is a US drugstore chain notorious for its absurdly long receipts -- and scored a personal best. 34.5 inches (87.6 cm)!!!
Any errors found in this blog are due to my unfamiliarity working in only three spatial dimensions.
Holy crap! I remember those but I never measure one. That is absurd. Here, most places only print receipts if you say you want one -- so they don’t waste paper!

ReplyDeleteThey ask here too. I was using a self-checkout, which also gives you a choice of paper, email, or none. I wanted to remember how much I paid for the item - yes, this was a receipt for only ONE item - and pressed paper.

ReplyDeleteI gave up on coupons years ago. I'd forget to take them shopping, and if I did remember, I'd forget I had them. Coupons are just adverse to my psyche, I guess.
