A Favorite Trip

One of my all-time favorite, unforgettable trips was in 2008, taking the White Pass Railway (https://wpyr.com/) up from Skagway, Alaska up to the British Columbia boarder and back again.  Built in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush,the trip encompasses mountains, glaciers and gorges, waterfalls, tunnels, and trestles climbing 3,000 feet in elevation over 20 miles.  Here are some of the best shots...

    LOVED that trip, the entire trip was planned around being able to ride that train.

    Beautiful scenery! Those photos make me miss the PNW. I will never feel at home among the cornfields.
