Being a single father can often be taxing, especially if one is extinct. So Edmund asked if he could get a little break from daddy-time with little Edwin. The little darling was sent over to herd day-care to hang out with the other kids
while Edmund went out for a promenade and some socializing
Arnold cheerfully agreed to nest-sit while Edmund and Edwin were away.
And it looks like the kids were all very well behaved.

ReplyDeleteA dodo called Edmund? I thought that the first names of all male dodos had to begin with the letter "D" - for example David or Donald - the latter being a repugnant Scottish name which means "cocksucker".
ReplyDeleteGood one. Actually, he's called Edmund because we bought him in Oxford during a stay for which we had rooms at St Edmund's Hall.
