We pause the travelogue once again to catch up on amusing memes. We hope you will find this a diverting change of pace. Lots to catch up on, I'm afraid. (Yorkshire Pud, you have been warned.)

"Haggis, neeps and tatties" (with gravy) a most traditional Scottish meal. Haggis turned out to be really quite tasty, and the modern preparation omits items that would be objectionable to modern tastes. You'll find it everywhere in ingenious modern preparations and and element of other dishes. It's a yummy ground lamb dish. Neeps is short for turnips, specifically the mashed yellow turnip (aka: swede, rutabaga) while tatties are mashed potatoes. Hearty, warm, and filling; I'd eat it again in a heartbeat.
We finality had the traditional British Sunday roast that eluded us in trips to England and Ireland. David was particularly delighted, and it was delicious.
