After Bermuda our next port of call was Weymouth on the southern coast of England. There is a ravine there which, due to peculiarities of climate and geography, has a semi-tropical micro climate. There is a lovely botanical garden there; unfortunately no one mentioned the path wound its way continuously up and down the slopes of the ravine. Beautiful, but also exhausting...
