Well, it wasn't quite as bad as predicted here. I was watching the weather radar from time to time, and several times a hole appeared in the storm right around DC. Maybe Marjorie Taylor Greene was right and we do control the weather. Of course, since we don't get much snow here and people don't know what to do, there is a fair amount of panic and local news announcing the end of civilization. Still, it's 18º (-8ºC) out there, feels like 5º (-15ºC) with a wind at 12-24mph (20-38kph). What ya might call a tad brisk.
That's about the amount of snow we have here in Illinois. Still chilly though.

ReplyDeleteNow that is cold, especially for the DC area. And even that amount of snow is crippling for the area, too. Stay warm and cozy, and safe.

ReplyDeleteSame here, we don't get tons of snow so we don't have the infrastructure to deal with it. Best thing to do is hide at home till it melts.
